This painting shows the hand of God leaving the heavenly realm and coming down to the earthly realm to give us His identity. In the scriptures we are called Kings and Priests, this is only made possible by His grace and mercy! The liquid flowing from the hand of God can represent various things; strength, healing, grace, joy, peace, etc. Whatever it is that we need, we receive from Him, which is made available to us because of our new identity.
Something I specifically wanted to pick up on with the liquid, is the grace that God provides us, to receive, take on and live in our new identity. Yes God has given us this crown, this identity, but it is up to us to decide to take the crown and wear it. At the same time, it is He that gives us the ability to do this, and the worthiness to carry that crown.
and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
2 Timothy 1:9
Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
